Many Facebook Platform applications don't actually do a whole lot. Like this one, aptly called Fortune Cookie. It was created by R. Tyler Ballance, an employee of slideshow-sharing company Slide Inc. (though the app is the developer's independent work, not a product of Slide). Essentially, all it does is display a fortune cookie message in your profile--and if you don't like it, you can push a button to "unfold" a new one.
Nevertheless, you can waste plenty of time clicking around and reloading new "fortunes." Many of them, as you can see, are particularly Web 2.0-worthy.
