Irish start-up BiancaMed uses wireless technology to monitor people's quality of sleep.
Chief Technology Officer Philip de Chazal is shown here with the front end of the company's Baby Monitor. A bigger unit hovers over the crib, and the parents keep this one near them to check the status of their child. If a child doesn't breathe for 15 seconds, it sends an alarm. The complete set will sell for $200 toward the end of the year.
