Avant Browser allows users to browse multiple Web sites simultaneously and to block all unwanted pop-up pages and Flash ads automatically. The integrated cleaner helps users clear all traces and maintain privacy. The built-in Yahoo and Google search engines enable users to search for Web pages, images, groups, directories, lyrics, software, and news on the Internet. Avant Browser provides options for blocking the download of Flash media, pictures, video, sounds, and ActiveX components, so users can efficiently use their bandwidth and speed up page loading. All opened pages can be stopped, refreshed, closed, or arranged with one click. It also comes with built-in RSS reader. Its similar Web sites bar displays Web sites, which are related to the opened Web pages.

• "Ditch Internet Explorer"

Starting from the Internet Explorer engine, Avant Browser adds useful capabilities, such as grouped favorites, an RSS reader, and tabbed browsing. The first thing we noticed upon launch was the aesthetically pleasing skin that came as the default with Avant Browser, but you can choose from among many preloaded skins in the Tools menu. The tabbed-browsing feature lets you quickly switch among Web sites, rather than having to shuffle through several browser instances in the Windows taskbar. If you visit several Favorites often, you can save them as a group and open the whole group with one click. When you shut down the program, Avant Browser remembers which windows were open and launches them the next time it starts up. You also can automatically refresh all windows, or only the current one, at regular intervals. A simple pop-up blocker works in most cases, but it was powerless against some floating banners and other, more obscure pop-up methods. Overall, we found Avant Browser a great alternative to Internet Explorer, with useful features that make browsing even more efficient.

  "A good browser, but unstable."

  Pros: * Small file size.

  * Great browsing.

  * Tabbed browsing.

  * Good interface.

  * Loads quickly.

  * Great subsitute for Internet Explorer.

  * A hard-working browser.

  Cons: * When I was using Avant, it was unstable at times.

  * I think that Firefox is much better.

  "Really Fast"

  Pros: Out of all the copy cat internet explorers, I like this one the best! It is fast and even makes my internet explorer faster. I love everything about Avant.

  Cons: None so far, and I have had this browser for a while with previous versions and they all worked well. Just hope this one is just as good as the older versions..i'm sure it is even better.

  "Avant is cool,better than firefox & opera"

  Pros: Opera has just given me problems..it was fast (or probaly was my windows reg.prob),but i don't why the response was v.poor.coz i need to give 2-3 click may be 4 to goto next link or page.So i just thought to try avant(In avant there is a good responsed in single click(fast ping may be)),Avant is faster than IE 6 in performance and speed.Even the skin is good & interface is v.clean N understanding..v custmisable browser.Even the ad-blocker is nice N effective than firefox and opera..and all most 99.9 percent the web pages opens v.well than opera and firefox

  Cons: well non.I have a dobt that is really ad-blocker feature a updated one?

  Pros: Very fast and safe browser! Blocks pop-up windows and prevents advertisments, and supports tabbed browsing! It's the best web browser created ever! Try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
