Avant Browser allows users to browse multiple Web sites simultaneously and to block all unwanted pop-up pages and Flash ads automatically. The integrated cleaner helps users clear all traces and maintain privacy. The built-in Yahoo and Google search engines enable users to search for Web pages, images, groups, directories, lyrics, software, and news on the Internet. Avant Browser provides options for blocking the download of Flash media, pictures, video, sounds, and ActiveX components, so users can efficiently use their bandwidth and speed up page loading. All opened pages can be stopped, refreshed, closed, or arranged with one click. It also comes with built-in RSS reader. Its similar Web sites bar displays Web sites, which are related to the opened Web pages. Version 10.1 build 28 improves ad blocker and pop-up blocker.

• "Ditch Internet Explorer"

Starting from the Internet Explorer engine, Avant Browser adds useful capabilities, such as grouped favorites, an RSS reader, and tabbed browsing. The first thing we noticed upon launch was the aesthetically pleasing skin that came as the default with Avant Browser, but you can choose from among many preloaded skins in the Tools menu. The tabbed-browsing feature lets you quickly switch among Web sites, rather than having to shuffle through several browser instances in the Windows taskbar. If you visit several Favorites often, you can save them as a group and open the whole group with one click. When you shut down the program, Avant Browser remembers which windows were open and launches them the next time it starts up. You also can automatically refresh all windows, or only the current one, at regular intervals. A simple pop-up blocker works in most cases, but it was powerless against some floating banners and other, more obscure pop-up methods. Overall, we found Avant Browser a great alternative to Internet Explorer, with useful features that make browsing even more efficient.

  "The best browser I've ever used!"

  Pros: I love the way Avant Browser handles multiple sites that are open at the same time.

  The ad blocking system also works like a dream.

  The Avant Browser is reliable 'cause it's based on IE.

  It's free and frequently updated!

  "Full Function ~ Powerfull~Versatile~Safer"

  Pros: Exceptionally Stable considering that it runs ontop of MS-IE, if it crashes it usually retains all open pages.

  I have been useing Advent Browser for over 2 years (never go back) & count less updates.

  Many different tools to chose from. Set it up fast -- the way YOU want it. Many layers of protection !!! Change configureations on the fly. Updated very often. By Far The Best, Easyest & Most Powerfull WebTool I Have Ever Used. Oh yea, did I mention it is FREE ???

  Cons: Does not incorperate a NewsReader.

  They update frequently adding/changing features as well as Security Features in response to everchanging threat environments OnLine ~ this (rarely) causes a Bug or two. This is no cause for alarm though, it is most often fixed in one or two days. You can always go back to a restore point. I have Never lost any of my settings or data associated with it (sometimes it apears lost ~ just close it & reopen it ... it's back)

  "Excellent product. Has just a few quircks, as all the rest."

  Pros: It fixes or works around all major IE glitches, maximizing its good features.

  Cons: There are some IE issues that Avant inherits, but in general it is very stable.

  "Throw away Firefox and burn I-Explorer!"

  Pros: *Easy to use.

  *Skinable.

  *Opens all type of pages (i-explorer based)

  *Tabbed browsing.

  *95% of this web browser can be modified as you like.

  *Ad-Blocker + Popup blocker.

  *accepts all types of toolbars.

  *Fast load when opening the program.

  *Multi Language.

  And much much more... I can't finish talking about the stuff I like in it.

  Cons: No any problem untill now... (Unbelievable!!)

  Pros: Downloading is easy and is the best browser that I have used, I have tried lots. Try it and then donate if you are happy also.
