Create PDF using PrimoPDF - a free tool for high-quality conversion to PDF, comprising a user-friendly interface that enables printing to PDF from virtually any Windows application. Additionally, PrimoPDF provides the ability to optimize PDF output for screen, print, ebook, and prepress, secure PDF files with 128-bit encryption, and add document information (e.g. title, author, subject, keywords) to converted PDF files. Full support for 64-bit machines, double byte character and non-TrueType font support, and improved PDF output also now available.
Version 4.1 adds new option to the Advanced dialog.

- "Turn any file into a PDF"
PrimoPDF 4 converts just about any file type to a PDF, using the source program the file was created with and its print command. Two new changes make the program easier to use and more useful. The interface redesign is definitely easier to navigate, and users can now choose to email the PDF instantly after its creation.
The conversion process from whatever document is on your screen to PDF is quick and efficient. Other features include a security feature, which allows the user to wrap the PDF in 40-bit or 128-bit encryption, PDF merging, and password protection. The user also can restrict editing of the new PDF, leaving comments and making other changes.
Primo's size is surprisingly large for such an unobtrusive app, and it's absolutely necessary to launch the read-me file at the end of installation, since the application loads no icons and leaves no other visible traces on your machine, except in the Start menu's All Programs.

Pros: Setting security options, making ebooks. It is really customizable and easy to use.
Cons: Works a little slower, but I love it.

Pros: Very easy to use. Just adds a new 'printer' to your printers. I find it difficult to believe that no one has reviewed an application that has in excess of 8 million downloads(!!) and that only 896 have voted for it. That sort of says that the software has become so much a part od people's daily activities - as it is of mine - that it simply gets used without being noticed! First class piece of software.
