Version: RSI-Shield 4.5.1
"Never got to use it - install/update problem"
Pros: don't know; never got to use it.
Cons: When I first opened this program to use it, it said there was an update which I ok'd to download. I was then put into a never ending loop; had to take down the computer hard to stop and regain control of my computer. Since this was only a 30 day free trial (versus a freeware program) and I had the looping problem, I opted to uninstall this and use the Scirocco Take a Break 2.7 (available here on CNet.com) which I like.

"Clumsy UI and bad stretches."
Pros: Contains lots of features
Cons: User-interface is clumsy. Stretches are not very good at all.

Version: RSI-Shield 4.5.1
Pros: I've spent 30 to 40 years sitting on my can at a typewriter then a PC. My body/spine/musculature system is wrecked. I've been doing physical rehab exercises and found this. Been using it two days. At first I resented its intrusion into my valuable PC time but now I like it a lot. The time breaks (default) feel about right and movies pop up leading me through different stretches. I had another timer but it felt punishing, depriving. I value RSI because of the 'companionship' of the little movie and for helping me to remember that what's important is not knocking my work out for hour and hours but my physical well being. It comes with about 15 exercises and the speed can be controlled. This is a really nice program and I haven't yet explored the macro possibilites.
Cons: CNET says its a 60 day trial; the RSI download says 30 days. The settings controls seem a bit daunting, probably because I always feel busy.
